I have had a love affair with dogs my entire life!  This passion has led me on a life-long path of learning and involvement.  At the age of thirteen I enrolled in my first dog obedience class and went on to teach classes myself in my early twenties, using a positive motivational method based on dog behavior, which was very new-age at the time.  I also provided in-home behavior modification which I found to be very rewarding.  Attending my first dog show was also a life changing experience which led me to breeding and showing, first German Shepherds then Golden Retrievers in my late twenties and early thirties. 

 During this time I also worked in a veterinary clinic, absorbing as much as I could about health and conditioning.  In my late thirties I opened a Doggie Daycare providing most doggie services, but being in a small community I couldn't earn a living at it.

Today, in my mid forties I am the publisher of a newspaper and my husband and I share our lives with  French Bulldogs.  This sturdy little breed fits our lifestyle with its easy care, minimal exercise requirements and comical sense of humor.  I have owned many breeds in my day and as a breed connoisseur, I can tell you that there's nothing like a Frenchie!  Once you've been owned by one, there's no going back! This breed is full of personality.  Their delightfully happy nature is contagious.  They are literally kid-proof and love children with  a passion.  They are not plagued with health problems like most breeds today.  Their smaller but muscular stature makes them very portable and they provide cheap entertainment in multiple dog families.  There's only one thing better than owning a Frenchy and that's owning two or more! To watch their behavior when interacting with one another is the greatest stress reliever in the world.  They are so gentle, loving and forgiving towards one another....we stand to learn a lot from them! 

They have won my husband's heart as well, so  together we work  to produce beautiful  and healthy representations of the breed for loving families to cherish.
